Perhaps the most direct way to get assistance from the staff here in the UCC is through one-on-one appointments. We have a few different options to ensure you’re able to get the help you need.

Resume Critiques

For assistance tailored specifically around resumes, our Career Peer Educators are available for pre-scheduled resume critiques.
Drop-ins
15 min
Brief drop-in sessions are available for those with quick questions around resumes and cover letters. These are first-come, first-served.
Multi-Purpose Appointments
The most common way to engage with our department is through one-on-one appointments with our staff. There are numerous appointment types, allowing you to the best assistance wherever you are in your career development journey. If you’re not sure where to begin or want to talk about several topics, just choose the one that aligns the best and we’ll still be able to help you out!

Resume Critiques
If you specifically want assistance with your resume, you have even more options. You can still make a resume appointment with one of our full-time staff members using the option above, or you can meet with one of our Career Peer Educators who specialize in resume assistance. Drop-ins
The final option for meeting with our staff is through our virtual drop-in sessions. Drop-ins are brief, 15 minute meetings with our Career Peer Educators where you can get assistance on your resume, cover letter, or very general career development questions. Please be aware, these are first-come, first-served and are only available at the times listed on the drop-in webpage linked below.
