Comet Treks
Dive deep into the heart of industries that interest you with Comet Treks. These employer site visits give you an insider’s look at daily operations and company cultures. You’ll meet with professionals and gain insights that can only be acquired on the ground.
UCC Job Shadowing
Short-term and impactful, our UCC Job Shadowing program offers job shadowing opportunities that allow you to observe and engage with professionals in your field of interest.
UTD UCC Student Employment
The Student Employment Office at UT Dallas provides students with part-time job opportunities that enhance their academic experience and professional development. Through on-campus and off-campus positions, students can gain valuable work experience while contributing to the university community.
On-Campus Internships
Gain professional experience without leaving campus through on-campus internships at UT Dallas. These positions allow students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, develop valuable skills, and build connections within the university community.
Project Hub

Expand your horizons with an internship abroad. We are committed to helping you find and secure international internships through our trusted partners. These opportunities allow you to immerse yourself in a new culture, develop language skills, and gain global work experience that distinguishes you in the competitive job market.
Student Organizations
The Student Organization Center (SOC) connects students with over 400 organizations focused on academics, culture, service, leadership, and more. Joining a student organization is a great way to build skills, make connections, and enrich your college experience.
UTD Volunteerism
The Office of Student Volunteerism (OSV) connects UT Dallas students with meaningful service opportunities that promote civic responsibility, leadership, and community impact. Through programs like EngageUTD, VolunTemoc, Alternative Spring Break, and the Community Garden, students engage in local and national service, build profession and interpersonal skills, and gain valuable resume material and networking opportunities.
UTD Study Abroad
The Office of International Education (OIE) offers students a chance to explore the world while earning academic credit. Choose from semester exchanges, faculty-led trips, affiliated partner programs, and international internships in over 50 countries. Programs range from one week to a full year, and are open to most students after their first year at UT Dallas.
Undergraduate Research
The Office of Undergraduate Education (OUE) at UT Dallas offers students hands-on research experiences across various disciplines. Students engage in research through faculty labs, summer programs, and specialized programs like the Clark Summer Research Program, Green Fellowship, and Archer Fellowship Program. Opportunities are available in fields such as neuroscience, bioengineering, business, pre-health, and more.
Forage
The UT Dallas Forage Virtual Experience offers students self-paced, online simulations designed by leading companies like Accenture, JPMorgan Chase, and Deloitte. These programs allow you to explore various industries and roles through realistic tasks, enhancing your skills and career readiness.
UTDesign EPICS
The UTDesign EPICS program empowers undergraduate students to apply their engineering and computer science skills to real-world challenges faced by non-profit organizations. Through multidisciplinary teams, students engage in service-learning projects that address community needs, fostering innovation and social responsibility.
