The EP Team partners with many organizations and resources to deliver experiential learning opportunities from micro-internships to project-based challenges and externships. Check out the following ways you can find your opportunity!

C.O.M.E.T. Treks is a unique program tailored to enrich the educational and professional journey of students by connecting them with companies both locally and around the world! C.O.M.E.T. Treks create opportunities for students to explore potential career paths, network with others, and broaden students’ understanding of different industries.

Explore opportunities such as Tech Challenges, Hackathons, Case Studies, Sprints, and more! Project Hub serves as your gateway to hands-on learning, allowing you to tackle real challenges presented by companies.

Learn direct from leading companies and gain valuable career skills by completing virtual work experiences on Forage.

EngageUTD is a platform where students, faculty and community partners can engage and collaborate. UTD is partnered with various organizations that post their volunteering events and programs on EngageUTD and students/faculty can keep track of those events and register and record their hours/impacts.

Dive into a Parker Dewey micro-internship. Browse these short-term, paid projects. International students at UT Dallas are not eligible to participate in micro-internships due to visa restrictions. Academic credit is not available.

EPICS is an innovative program blending community service, undergraduate education, and design with real impact to the community. EPICS partners with nonprofit organizations to collaboratively address human and community needs with technology-based solutions. Students participating in EPICS have an opportunity to work in interdisciplinary teams to solve real-world problems. 

EPICS is a service-learning class offered to all our UTD undergraduate students.
